Overview
MPEG MovieMaker, an Optibase MPEG and Dolby Digital encoding platform, uses sophisticated technology to provide you with a wide choice of options. MPEG MovieMaker 200S offers the full range of video and audio interfaces, video resolutions, audio encoding formats and MPEG multiplexing capabilities - all on a single half- size PCI encoding board. MPEG MovieMaker 200S boards are fully integrated with Optibase's video streaming and networking platforms.
Availability and Lead Time
The Optibase MovieMaker 200 product line is end-of-life, replaced by the newer MovieMaker 230 line. Visible Light can still get MovieMaker 200 products for our customers, with a lead time of 1-2 weeks.
Dell Computers
The Optibase 200 line is not compatible with newer Dell computers. If you have a new Dell model, you will need an Optibase Moviemaker 230.
International Customers
Visible Light is restricted from making sales or quotes of Optibase products to customers outside North America. If we are delivering to a North America address, we may assist you.
MovieMaker 200S Publisher VOD
Capable of real-time VBR and equipped with SDI (BNC) digital video and Composite and S-Video (BNC) analog video interfaces, as well as unbalanced (MiniJack) analog and balanced (RCA Jack) AES/EBU digital audio interfaces and 2-Channel Dolby Digital (AC-3) encoding. Includes MPEG Composer 200 encoding management software with VTR control cable. Supports MXF and M2P file formats. Includes VOD support based on the CableLab's specifications and support for up to 15Mbps.
